henry has a baby sister!

sorry i've been such a bad blogger. i was busy crafting and I participated in 2 craft fairs in december...and i didn't post any pictures of what i made...i guess i wasn't very organized. and after that when i thought i would be getting ready for CHRISTmas i needed to start getting our house ready to get new laminate flooring, which was all very overwhelming to me. and then we went to maui to spend CHRISTmas with the kids and grandkids which was very nice and relaxing. and then we came home on sunday night and on monday morning we started in on the flooring. much too much for this old lady. milton and i had planned on looking for a puppy for henry because he really needs a playmate since his brother moved to maui. we were gonna start looking after the flooring was done, sometime in january, but our puppy found us, today! one of our neighbors adopted our new little girl from the humane society today, but when she brought her home the rest of the family wasn't ready for another doggie, so faith came over and asked me if i was interested. i went over immediately to check her out and fell i love with her, so we brought her down to our house to meet henry and he liked her too. we won't be bringing henry's sister, nanea, home until next week when the house isn't quite so messy. she'll be going to the vet on tuesday, along with henry who needs a check up, and then we'll bring her home. can't wait! nanea is 3 months old, according to the folks at the humane society, and she is a terrier mix. she's kinda scruffy and real cute, and she's very lovable.
